Our Work
Educating the marginalised.
The Zazba Trust is firmly anchored by four core pillars, central to its mission and values. At the forefront of our objectives is the commitment to deliver educational opportunities to those in dire need. Our unwavering focus is on bridging educational gaps and empowering individuals through the gift of learning

Our Approach
"Children are not things to be molded, but people to be unfolded"
We are centered at the grassroots level, focusing on the most marginalized children and helping them to dream big. With the spirit of the 'Right to Education' in our minds, we are educating them in whatever ways we can, apart from the regular classroom teaching that we conduct. We hope to develop a holistic character in the children while creating an atmosphere conducive to their learning and growth, enabling them to reach their fullest potential.

Our "ZAZBA"
"So close to civilization, yet so far away"
Zazba exists to bridge the gap between the remote and inaccessible areas of the Garbhanga Forest and the urban civilization of Guwahati. We ventured off the beaten path to a small village town situated 20 km inside the forest, an area practically marginalized from the outside world. Our motivation led to the construction of not just a school made of bricks and mortar, but also to igniting the native tribal population with an ambition to learn and grow comprehensively.

Child Participation
"If knowledge is power, curiosity is the muscle"
The curiosity of the children provides them with a hunger to learn. We are encouraging them to put their faith in an institution such as a school, which lay dormant until our intervention. The kids and their families have been brave and extremely happy to accept the new changes in their community made by Zazba. Apart from primary education, we also encourage children to participate in sports and other co-curricular activities.

Transparency
"Transparency increases credibility and accountability"
Transparency is something we value immensely. We are a group of six enthusiastic women who, with motivation and commitment, are working towards providing children with holistic development. We are completely transparent and work at ground zero. Our Trust is more like a family, where everyone trusts each other. You know your donations are being put to good use because we are accountable for the future of these children.
