Our Members
Membership
Why should you become a member?
By choosing to become a member of the Trust, you demonstrate your commitment to our cause. We aim to provide education to marginalized children in society. The Trust is currently operating in the Garbhanga forest region, where we have renovated a school and currently have around 45 children studying. Zazba has plans to expand and better serve society. You can read more about that here.

To expand, we need funds, and members contribute a fixed amount to the Trust funds. They become associated with Zazba Trust and all of its projects. Apart from being a part of it, they also get the opportunity to participate in visits to the Trust's schools, currently Natun Garbhanga LP School, and see our work firsthand.

Members are considered a valued part of the Trust, and all suggestions and ideas put forward by them are taken into consideration. As a member, your contribution is essential for the continued functioning of Zazba Trust. We are grateful to our members who have continued to support our cause by contributing a fixed amount of money over a continuous duration.
Membership Types:
We understand that not everyone can commit to our cause by becoming a member over extended periods. To accommodate this and provide everyone the opportunity to become a member, we currently offer three different types of memberships:
1. Lifetime Membership: A monthly contribution of 1,000 INR over an extended period of time.
2. Half-Year Membership: A one time contribution of 6,000 INR for a period of 6 months
3. Yearly Membership: A one time contribution of 12,000 INR for a period of 12 months
Important points to note:

1. Membership is subject to approval by the board of Trustees. If deemed necessary, membership status can be rejected or revoked.
2. Lifetime membership functions like a subscription. Currently, the monthly amount of 1000 INR has a billing cycle of 3 years, after which it is extended.

3. After a period of three years, it is up to the members to decide if they wish to further extend the period beyond three years. Extensions after the default period of 3 years is done in steps of 2 years.
4. Despite the name, the decision to remain a lifetime member rests with the member themselves (and the Trustees).

Lifetime members are in no way bound to the Trust for life. They are a part because of their willingness to be associated with our cause. If they wish to withdraw, Zazba Trust has provisions for the same as elaborated above.
